International School of Acturial Sciences, Institute of Insurance Management, Hyderabad invites applications for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Actuarial Sciences for session 2010-11. The Course is for a period of 15 months duration and one month internship and spread over three semesters.
Accreditation: Society of Acturies (SOA), USA, offers VEE credits to 3 subjects for the diploma holders of the course.
Eligibility: Graduates or Post Graduates in any discipline with a Second Class pass (an overall 50% of pass marks) and with Mathematics or Statistics or Econometrics or Actuarial Subjects as one of the subjects in which a minimum of 60% marks is essential.
Selection Procedure: Based on a Personal Interview.
Note: All selected applicants as students into the Course shall secure the Student Membership of the Institute of Actuaries of India, Mumbai, before joining the Course, failing which the selection / admission for the Course will get cancelled automatically.
Fee: The fee for the entire 3 semester Course is Rs. 5 lakh, and charged in one lump sum only, with in one month of the date of the admission letter.
