2. Post Doctoral Fellowship at IIT Madras and Short term Post Doctoral Fellowship for women:
Eligibility: Candidates should have a Ph.D in the appropriate discipline. There is no age limit prescribed.
Duration: The duration of the fellowship will vary from 2 to 6 months, consisting of 2 to 3 visits, each visit not less than two months. After the first visit, the Department at its discretion may extend the fellowship to a maximum total duration limited to One year.
Details of Support:
- Rs.25000/- (consolidated) per month.
- Return Train Fare by II AC from place of residence in India to IIT Madras.
- Suitable accommodation as per IIT norms will be offered if requested and if available.
