The Role
Responsibilities
As the Accounting and Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the core financial, accounting, and operational functions of the firm. You will work closely with the General Partners to ensure the financial health and operational efficiency, driving the overall success of the firm. Your responsibilities will be to:
- Oversee client's daily financial and accounting operations, including payroll, invoicing, capital activities, and compliance with policies.
- Prepare and monitor the firm's budget, financial statements, and forecasts to guide business decisions.
- Partner with service providers to ensure smooth audits, tax filings, and essential financial activities.
- Collaborate with portfolio companies and internal teams to gather and analyze financial and operational data.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for investors, delivering insights on client's activities and the impact of investments.
- Lead compliance efforts to meet investor commitments and adhere to internal policies and regulations.
- Implement policies related to compliance and risk management, including business continuity and data protection.
- Source and evaluate vendors and suppliers to ensure top industry partnerships.
- Contribute to other ad-hoc operational activities to support client's development.
Ideal Profile
- You have at least 5 years of experience in Accounting and Audit, within Accounting/Finance Manager roles.
- Prior experience in a Venture Capital/Private Equity firm, especially as a Fund Administrator/Fund Controller, would be advantageous.
- You possess a solid knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards, tax regulations, and procedures.
- You have hands-on experience preparing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and external reports.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and U.S. tax obligations would be a plus.
- Familiarity with investor reporting and managing investor relations is highly valued.
- You have an understanding of compliance and risk management practices.
- You have exceptional organizational and project management skills and are capable of managing competing priorities and multiple stakeholders effectively.
- You possess excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders across the region.
- You are a detail-oriented and committed professional, with a solid focus on delivering quality across the board.
