Your responsibilities
- Financial Strategy and Management:
- Develop and implement financial strategies in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), optimizing financial performance.
- Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management, ensuring accurate reporting of Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis utilizing techniques such as variance analysis and ratio analysis to identify trends and provide insights for cost containment and revenue enhancement.
- Implement strategies to optimize Value Added Tax (VAT) management and compliance, ensuring accurate reporting and timely remittance.
- Provide expertise in Personal Income Tax (PIT) calculations and compliance, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and laws.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Develop and implement robust processes and procedures to ensure compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Lead annual financial audits, coordinating with external auditors to ensure timely completion and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through the implementation of internal controls and risk management strategies.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data, including VAT filings, tax returns, and financial statements.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on financial compliance matters, fostering a culture of adherence to accounting standards and best practices.
Financial Operations Oversight:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including invoice processing, cash flow forecasting, and bank account reconciliation.
- Develop and implement capital allocation policies, overseeing investment decisions such as potential fundraising and mergers and acquisitions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to assess the financial impact of business decisions and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, in compliance with VAS and IFRS.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including tax authorities and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in financial management or accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and perform financial modelling and forecasting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and lead a team.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements, and experience managing external audits and tax compliance.
- Experience in fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, or other capital-raising activities is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and coaching.
- Passion for yoga and wellness is a plus.
