About Us
Damen Song Cam Shipyard Co., Ltd is a joint venture between Damen Shipyards Group in the Netherlands (70%) and Song Cam Shipyard (30%), member of SBIC and based in Haiphong, Vietnam. At a 42 hectare site just outside Haiphong, Damen Song Cam is a strategic and preferred production location within the Damen Shipyards Group to produce tugboats and workboats. At the moment, the shipyard is a dedicated outfitting shipyard, outfitting, commissioning and delivering approx. 40 vessels per year to clients worldwide. At a later stage Damen Song Cam will further increase its production facilities to deliver approx. 80 vessels a year and will start to produce some of the hulls which are currently sub-contracted to other yards.
Finance is one of the 4 main units of Damen Song Cam Shipyard Co., Ltd. There are 4 departments within Finance namely Accounting & Control, HSEQ, ICT and Administration & services.
Administration and services department has 2 core functions:
- Administration activities management
- Service activities management
Administration staff is the position in administration management.
The role
- Being responsible for car transport arrangements and related activities
- Besides, getting involved in other general administration jobs required by manager
Key accountabilities
As an Administration Staff, your tasks are the following:
Planning and scheduling
- Main contact point for car arrangements with visitors/clients/related-project Damen colleagues
- Plan and schedule proper routes for drivers (both internal and external) at cost-saving manner
- Check and follow up all requests for car arrangements
- Monitor car maintenance schedule periodically
Administration
- Support manager to prepare the budget and forecast for administration costs
- Audit the cleaning activities
- Oversee the weekly car usage schedule
- Ensure that the drivers are following handbook rules
- Monitor and prepare payments for car rental costs for subcontractors including Grab and taxi.
- Monitor and prepare payments for car-related expenses for drivers.
- Monitor and make payment for car insurance policies.
- Monitor drivers both internal and external
Other tasks
- Complete other assignments requested by managers
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you bring:
Business Administration or same level of another relevant education
Preferable experiences in car transport/routes, service desk & scheduling
