PRIMARY JOB DESCRIPTION
An agile Delivery Manager is a person, who makes sure that all deliverables & services are being seamlessly rendered towards the clients. He/she is in charge of a variety of tasks, such as leading project teams, rectifying reliability issues, monitoring progress, tracking KPIs, attending stakeholder meets
- The person builds strong relationships with key client stakeholders and demonstrate the appropriate level of gravitas in engaging with business.
- Display thought leadership and demo solutions at major events
- Work with solution/platform architect to provide technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration across multiple customer engagements from the definition phase (pre-sales/scoping) through implementation.
- Encouraging regular iteration on deliverables.
- Ensuring the regular delivery of projects and products in accordance with Agile methodologies.
- Defining and managing priorities against the available capacity of team members.
- Project management: work closely with SM/PPO/TA in planning / executing / monitoring and take corrective action in their assigned projects. Managing schedule, risk, assumptions, issues, dependencies, stakeholders (create and maintain RACI matrix)
- Delivery management: ensure delivered products meet/exceed agreed timeline/quality
- People management for assigned teams: work closely with team leadership in people matters, project resources management, coaching of team members, knowledge management. ADM is the direct manager of SM, TA, PPO in their assigned teams
- Process management: lead process kaizen activities in assigned project teams, work with SM, TA, PPO, QA in assigned projects to ensure healthy PDCA cycles happen in agile / architecture / QA / PPO / skill maturity processes
- Contribute to organizational risk management and retrospective
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in managing multiple complex technology projects with strong project management, client management, service delivery and people management skills
- Have good communication skills to interact and influence the project team coordinate with stakeholders.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills.
- Accountable for planning and allocating resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Strong exposure to Agile based methodologies, SCRUM, Change management etc
- Has knowledge / experience in one of areas below:
- Organization risk management
- Agile coaching
- Architectural / DevOps / Engineering practices
- Coaching and people development
- Agile Testing and quality assurance process
- Business analysis and product management
- Organizational training
