To support our global growth, we are looking for an experienced Sales Director to grow our business in Asia-Pacific.
This role is dedicated to discovering, nurturing, and winning new opportunities and has a proven track record in leading regional sales activities in software product engineering across various industries.
This role reports to the APAC CEO and is accountable for net-new business and revenue generation across the region.
What You Should Have
- 7-10+ years experience in consulting-led sales for custom software development, digital agencies, digital consulting firms or similar.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Strong experience in managing CRM systems and developing metrics to measure customer service success
- Excellent ability to work with and coordinate multidisciplinary/cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record in managing bids and multi-million dollar accounts and generating double-digit YOY growth.
- Proven track record in selling custom software and consulting solutions to senior executives
- Excellent communication, copywriting, and presentation skills.
- Ability to coach, mentor and train colleagues
- Specific industry domain knowledge is beneficial (FS, Fintech, etc.)
What You Will Do
- Lead 5-10 regional Business/Sales Managers
- Drive lead prospection and qualification activities
- Assess customer needs and evaluate customer satisfaction
- Work closely with the Marketing team to define the regional growth strategy
- Forecasting and creating annual sales quotas for the region
- Work closely with finance and operations to guide pricing strategies
- Meet sales targets and conversion rate KPIs.
- Direct bids/proposals for custom software solutions hands on experience is required.
- Help lead key regional accounts
- Lead pitch presentations
- Lead and coordinate contract negotiations for a successful close.
- Provide weekly/monthly sales reports.
- Be the conduit between sales and staff resourcing teams to ensure teams are adequately resourced in line with client expectations
- Create links and develop effective working relationships with appropriate third-party vendors & technology partners
- Overseeing regional sales team recruitment and development
