Job Description
The candidate will report to Senior Sale Manager and take responsibilities for:
- Design parts, subsystems, and variants of manually operated motors according to customer requirements, within specified cost targets. This includes generating CAD models, BOMs, drawings, functional descriptions.
- Develop a knowledge database on micromotor production technologies and create a guide for production-oriented motor design to streamline processes.
- Enhance product concepts by incorporating production-driven design optimizations to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
- Lead and manage change requests and provide troubleshooting support for series production issues.
- Drive continuous improvement of series products by applying technical design considerations and innovations.
- Analyze customer requirements related to materials, functionality, electrical specifications, and application needs, and align these with supplier components and production capabilities to improve product and process quality for micromotors.
- Assist with claim analysis for micromotors, addressing quality issues and troubleshooting claims.
- Prepare technical drawings and production-ready documentation for micromotors and electromechanical assemblies, including 3D and 2D drawings, BOMs, statistical tolerances (Cpk, PPk), and calculations.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Engineering, with a Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical or similar background
- Proven technical knowledge of electro-mechanical products (such as electric motors, actuators, switches, solenoids or similar)
- Fluent Vietnamese and good Chinese
- Highly self-organized, motivated, resilient personality
- Ability to work with and influence customers at a senior level
