Solid & Soft, a leading provider of engineering solutions, is seeking a talented Application Engineer with expertise in SOLIDWORKS to join our dynamic team. As an Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients by providing product demonstrations, technical support, and expert guidance on SOLIDWORKS applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for SOLIDWORKS software to clients.
- Deliver product demonstrations and training sessions tailored to customer needs.
- Assist clients in solving complex design challenges using SOLIDWORKS tools.
- Offer guidance on best practices, workflows, and customization of SOLIDWORKS to improve design processes.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and present suitable solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new SOLIDWORKS features and industry trends.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues for clients in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience using SOLIDWORKS software (certification is a plus).
- Strong understanding of 3D CAD modeling, assemblies, and simulations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a passion for helping clients improve their workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in providing training and technical support for CAD software.
- Familiarity with other CAD/CAE tools or PLM systems.
- Knowledge of product development processes and engineering design principles.
