Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Medical Sales Representatives, with a focus on Diabetes Medications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong sales background in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in diabetes care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Medical Sales Representatives to achieve sales targets and maximize market share for diabetes medications.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to promote diabetes products within assigned territory.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and key metrics, and report on the team's progress regularly.
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and key accounts to drive product awareness and sales growth.
- Provide regular training and guidance to sales teams to improve their performance and product knowledge.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new developments in the diabetes treatment sector.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., marketing, regulatory) to ensure effective product launches and promotions.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry, specifically with diabetes medications.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive results.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong English reading comprehension to navigate product materials and medical documentation.
- Knowledge of the diabetes medication market and related healthcare industry trends.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, etc.) is preferred.
