- To identify and execute visual merchandising opportunities for sports brands, ensuring strategic alignment and consistent visual standards across all stores.
- To develop visual merchandise strategies, manage budgets, and train store staff to enhance brand presence and customer experience.
Areas of Responsibility:
1.Visual Merchandising Strategy:
- Identify and capitalize on visual merchandising opportunities to enhance the presence of sports brands.
- Provide strategic direction for visual merchandising in stores to align with brand objectives.
2.Visual Standards and Layout:
- Develop and implement a structured approach to maintain consistent visual standards across all stores.
- Design and manage display points, floor layouts, window designs, and internal displays for promotional events.
3.Event Planning and Execution:
- Design, plan, and execute in-store events to boost brand visibility and engagement.
- Coordinate event logistics and collaborate with relevant teams to ensure successful execution.
4.Budget Management:
- Manage budgets related to fixtures, signage, and visual merchandising materials to ensure effective financial use.
- Monitor and control spending on visual merchandising initiatives.
5.Training and Development:
- Provide training to store personnel on visual merchandising techniques and standards.
- Ensure staff are equipped with the skills needed to maintain visual merchandising standards.
6.Marketing Collateral:
- Prepare and implement point-of-sale materials and branding collateral for marketing promotion campaigns.
- Ensure that all materials align with brand guidelines and enhance customer experience.
7.Supplier and Brand Liaison:
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of visual merchandising materials.
- Liaise with brand principals to ensure adherence to display standards and guidelines.
8.Center of Excellence (COE):
- Implement and train staff on COE initiatives to ensure best practices are applied across all locations.
9.Cross-Department Coordination:
- Interface with Merchandising, Operations, and Marketing departments to ensure cohesive execution of visual merchandising strategies.
- Collaborate with these teams to address and resolve merchandising issues.
Person's Specification:
- Opportunity for conversion to a permanent position after completing a short-term contract
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Design or Architecture.
- 4-7 years of proven experience in visual merchandising or related roles within a retail environment.
- Expertise in visual merchandising, budget management, and event planning.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in English
