One of our clients, is a Singapore Based Startup - Global fully digitized trade finance platform is looking for an ambitious individual with an entrepreneurial spirit to join their Commercial - Origination team with a focus in Structuring and Solutioning. The individual will have a positive and friendly attitude with three primary areas of responsibilities (1) developing client value proposition in the space of supply chain finance (SCF) and receivables finance (RF); (2) Managing business and deal enablement; (3) Leading end-to-end deal execution
Responsibilities:
(1) Developing client value proposition
Explore and develop business initiatives based on market opportunities and lead the assessment of the business case internally.
Co-develop SCF and RF product (Product) strategy based on market insights, existing gaps, and exploring opportunities along with Corporate Coverage.
Develop bespoke transaction structures which fulfils client needs and address clients pain points with appropriate risk mitigation solutions for internal stakeholders.
Provide market feedback to Trade Product team to develop or enhance product and system. Identify new partners to strengthen the sales force.
(2) Managing business and deal enablement
Lead the deal team to ensure timely achievement of execution timeline and escalate gaps to deal team.
Liaise with clients and internal teams to conduct corporate and transactional due diligence.
Embed quality in all document touchpoints developing related investor materials, writing internal deal memos/approvals, etc.
(3) Leading end-to-end deal execution
Support Corporate Coverage on all product related aspects of prospecting and client pitch.
Provide product expertise and coordinate with other internal teams to structure bespoke solutions.
Lead all aspects of deal execution, including partnering closely with Risk, Legal, DS&I to ensure timely and seamless execution of a deal mandate.
