RESPONSIBILITIES
- The role is responsible for successfully delivering a portfolio of initiatives to achieve transformational change, largely to reduce T&EO risk, ensuring that change is effectively and proactively managed, whilst minimising operational risk and disruption to internal and external stakeholders.
- Delivery of the portfolio of initiatives to achieve cost out targets as per agreed plans, ensuring co-ordination and integration of activities across the initiative/portfolio, where applicable.
- Proactively identify & manage risks & issues to the delivery of change activities & delivery portfolio.
- The role will work closely with members of the T&EO business to plan, prioritise and deliver critical planning, implementation and readiness activities for large-scale transformation programs.
- Monitor and review progress of delivery of productivity initiatives and outcomes, identifying where intervention or acceleration is required
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive business experience within the banking & finance industry or in a consulting environment.
- Significant experience leading project delivery, including across peers to achieve goals.
- Strong communication as influencing people at as senior level
- Exposure to large scale project management/transformation
- Track record of career progression
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to untangle complex issues
- Ability to synthesise clear takeaways and recommendations from analysing complex information using both quantitative and qualitative methods
- Highly experienced in project management methodologies, tools and processes across the project lifecycle
- Tertiary qualified with a degree in Finance, Engineering, Commerce or Business and a preference to post graduate qualifications
