We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Backend Manager/Expert to spearhead the development and operations of our mission-critical backend systems. In this role, you will manage a team of backend engineers, set the technical vision, and ensure the robust, scalable, and secure backend infrastructure that powers our innovative technology solutions.
Design and implement highly-available, fault-tolerant, and scalable backend systems using modern technologies.
Develop and maintain high-performance, secure, and compliant APIs for seamless integration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Establish and enforce best practices for backend development, deployment, and monitoring.
Optimize backend systems for performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness using cloud-native and DevOps practices.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies, including blockchain, to enhance platform capabilities.
Manage and mentor a team of backend engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Participate in the recruitment and professional development of backend developers.
Ensure backend systems comply with industry standards and security policies.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Must have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
8+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on backend development.
Proven track record of leading and mentoring a backend engineering team.
Extensive knowledge of modern backend frameworks, databases, and messaging systems, with a focus on Node.js and blockchain technologies
Knowledge of blockchain security best practices and compliance requirements.
Expertise in designing and implementing high-performance, secure, and scalable APIs, including experience with blockchain-based APIs
Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native technologies
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Nice to have:
Experience with TypeScript and its integration with Node.js in a blockchain context.
Exposure to Solidity, Vyper, or other smart contract programming languages.
Understanding of cryptography and consensus algorithms used in blockchain networks.
