Job description:
THE ROLE
The Brand Manager is responsible for developing and deploying above-the-line marketing plans aligned with Business Strategy. He/she is also responsible for brand building, driving awareness of key product categories on growth, relevant communication and innovation related to the target customers and focused market.
The position is based in Ho Chi Minh City. He/she hierarchically reports to the Marketing Director.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand market dynamics, competition, consumer/contractor/architect/customer insights through (Research, Competitive trends, trade visits);
- Understand Media landscape and trends to maximize the investment and effectiveness;
- Brand positioning vs. competitors.
- Define media channel mix and affordable price positioning to extend brand awareness on potential market/categories;
- Market understanding and explore the opportunities for building brand leadership through assigned categories;
- Align with the other Business functions to ensure timely and effective launch;
- Manage above-the-line Marketing budget effectively;
- Develop and manage eCommerce.
- Work with Headquarter and relevant agencies for developing and implementing the communication plan within approved budgets;
- Integrate the brand positioning across all the elements of the marketing mix for both ATL and BTL.
- Manage and develop brand team for great team spirit and environment;
- Leverage employee skills for high efficiency;
- Training and coaching for team members.
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree, major in Marketing, Business Administration or Foreign Trade;
- Fluency in English;
- Effective negotiation skills and selling skills;
- Good communication and organizational skills;
- Able to work within a team;
- Presentation skills, planning, analyzing, communicating, creating, and implementing.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing Field and at management level;
- Cross Functional Appreciation;
- Category: FMCG, Electronic Appliances, Construction Materials;
- Good understanding of local market and consumer behavior.
- Ability to take multitask, people and team oriented, Can do attitude.
