Job Title: Business Analyst (part-time)
Job Description: This is a part-time position with potential to become a full-time position for the right candidate. This is a work from home position, however the candidate must be located in Ho Chi Minh City, VN. This is a part-time position and will be contracted under a hp ng cng tc vin.
What we're looking for:
Required
- You speak English at a professional level.
- You should have an IT background.
- You are familiar with the software development life cycle.
- Technical knowledge of website, app, and software development.
- This is not a software development position. Candidates are not required to have hard coding skills; however, you should be a technically minded person with an above average understanding of websites and software.
- You understand Azure DevOps and agile software development.
- You are presentable, well-spoken, and able to confidentially communicate with business professionals in writing and in person.
- You are familiar with mockup softwares, such as Axure, and can create basic mockups of software interfaces.
- You can create professional diagrams of business processes, workflows, and systems using tools like LucidChart and Excel.
Preferred, but not required:
- Four-year degree in an IT-related field.
- Familiar with Axure and making mockups.
- Some software development experience.
What you'll work on:
- Breaking down business requirements into workable tasks for developers and documenting those tasks in Azure DevOps.
- Creating mockups of systems, screens, and functionality to present to clients.
- Writing documentation of systems and business processes.
- Acting as a liaison between clients/users, architects, and developers.
- Some project management. You take user requirements, convert them into workable tasks for development, and assist in the coordination of launching those new features in client's systems.
- Working with developers and software architects to support production of new features.
- You'll do some quality assurance testing. After a new task is developed according to your requirements, you'll need to test that functionality to ensure it meets expectations.
How you'll work:
- Work is remote, work anywhere that is comfortable for you.
- Work will be about 10-20 hours per week.
- You will communicate with team members mostly via Microsoft Teams.
- Work is assigned to you via Azure DevOps.
- You will track you time work with QuickBooks Online time tracking.
