The key responsibility is to oversee the account planning, business development and revenue uplift for domestic market. This role also requires managing, collaborating and partnering with key stakeholders of major line of business in Vietnam and Malaysia.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure strategic objectives are translated into tactical business plans with mechanisms for key measurements in place to monitor progress.
- Identify growth opportunities, market trends and potential competitors operating in Vietnam via thorough market research and analysis.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, clients, regulators and industry influencers.
- Collaborate with international units to accelerate network referrals. Manage and track income uplift, budgets, forecast to ensure profitability in the market.
- Assess potential risks and challenges associated with Maybank Vietnam's expansion in the market and develop mitigation strategies.
- Identify and evaluate direct and indirect competitive landscape, client pain points and evolve workflow needs to maximize efficiencies whilst reducing risk and costs.
- Contribute to the development of Vietnam revenue uplift by providing a view on potential improvements for products or services and an assessment of the existing situation and anticipated changes in the external environment.
Qualifications
- Level of Education: Preferably a Bachelor's Degree or above.
- Years of Experience: At least 10 years of experience in large-deal business with high complexity.
- Discipline/Related Field: Banking, Finance, Economics, Business.
- Strategic, logical and clear in thought, with sharp business acumen
- Articulate and able to communicate key messages effectively
- Effective stakeholders management skills and experience working in cross functional teams
- Building and managing a highly motivated and enthusiastic team
- Ability to identify a problem root cause and drive the process and control to resolution
