Role Description:
- Identifying new business opportunities by researching potential markets, industries, and customers
- Map value chains and Identify gaps to find out potential opportunities to participate in
- Do market study to estimate sales volume and seasonality.
- Find out value chain margins.
- Building and maintaining relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders.
- Collaborating with operations, R&D, marketing, sales, and product development teams to develop strategies for new product/new market launches and promotions.
- Understand potential customers requirements and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Drive sales once a potential opportunity is identified
- Drive initial branding efforts for selected products.
- Working directly with Country Head on various strategy projects related to new business development.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands on and demonstrable experience in Agri commodities/food/beverage sales in a professional environment; Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles
- University degree or higher degree in business/ relevant fields
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese
- Good understanding of sales channels and good contacts
- Knowledge of business development processes and frameworks
- Understanding of costing and good business acumen
- Good communication and negotiation skills. Highly skilled at networking
- Highly motivated and self-driven individual who takes ownership
- A result driven person with strategic bend of mind.
