CCTV Supervisor

CCTV Supervisor observes designated premises through CCTV systems; pick up early indications of problems pertaining to security, cash and safety and respond appropriately by alerting various agencies in time to safeguard life, property and premises and manage CCTV team for the best result.

-Operate and monitor all CCTV systems in the control room in an efficient manner ensuring that work is undertaken in compliance with the operating procedures, legislation and the codes of practice.

-Supervise and coordinate in handling customer situations, cash handling, monitoring security, fire safety, etc.

-Timely report violations or unusual cases during monitoring to management level or relevant stores/departments.

-Ensure the accurate recording of all events and actions monitored from CCTV system, including the daily logs of the events.

-Lead a team to make sure they detect any act that could harm the property.

-Carry out regular equipment checks and report all equipment faults to the IT Manager.

-Ensure the security of the control room and all equipment are maintained properly at all times.

-Produce monthly/quarterly reports as required.

-Administration of all staffing matters for the control room, including the preparation of the monthly shift rota.

-Train staff through daily on-the-spot training sessions, daily briefing, debriefing and on-the-floor training.

-Motivate the staff by leading the shift and resolving any issues they may occur

-Review and correct any issues with performance, punctuality, attendance of the staff on the shift.

-Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.

-Graduation from College of technology.

-Experience 1 year or more, preferably with security supervision.

-Computer literate Microsoft Office.

-Careful, serious, responsible, work under pressure, fair and honest.

-Knowledge of CCTV systems, monitoring skills, handling situations quickly and decisively.

-Be strictly disciplined.

-Good analytical thinking.
