Job Description:
1. Develop and Implement Financial Plans:
- Create and control the overall financial plans for the company.
- Organize and execute tasks related to the accounting department based on the financial plan.
- Monitor the storage of accounting records, invoices, and documents in compliance with regulations.
- Supervise financial reporting, asset inventory processes, and financial statement preparation.
2. Build and Manage the Accounting Team:
- Establish and manage an efficient and effective accounting team.
- Plan and implement training programs for team members to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
3. Maintain Operational Control:
- Oversee and monitor the company's business activities.
- Advise senior management on financial control measures.
4. Ensure Legal Compliance:
- Implement legal regulations regarding accounting and finance.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with Vietnamese accounting standards.
- Ensure confidentiality of financial and economic information.
5. Reporting:
- Prepare periodic financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Report to senior management on financial performance and suggest improvements.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- A Master's degree or certifications such as ACCA, CMA is preferred.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Prior experience as a Chief Accountant in the education sector is an advantage.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in accounting software such as Misa or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of tax policies and labor laws.
