As the company continues to expand, they are seeking an Chief Accountant with a proven track record in setting up Finance - Accounting team from scratch.
Location: new established office in D1, HCMC.
Job Description:
As the Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial and accounting activities of the company. You will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with local regulations, and effective financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire accounting function including bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with Vietnamese accounting standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and prepare for annual audits and tax filings.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Supervise and train accounting staff.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Must have Chief Accountant Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Fluent in reading, writing & speaking English
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
