Chief Accountant (Retail industry)

Salary: Upto 60 Mil

Location: HCMC

Job Description

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with Vietnamese accounting standards, tax regulations, and other legal requirements.

Audit Coordination: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Financial Analysis: Provide insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making and strategic planning.

Cash Management: Oversee cash flow management, including accounts payable and receivable, to ensure liquidity and financial stability.

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance and key metrics to senior management and other stakeholders.

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance (Chief Accountant or equivalent certification preferred).

Required experience

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Experience in the retail service industry.

Required languages

Strong command of written and spoken English

Skills & Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards and tax regulations.

Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is prioritized)

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
