Our Client Is a Leading Financial Services Company In Vietnam Who Is Looking For a Qualified Candidate To Join Their Firm
- Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's overall business goals.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Oversee all aspects of financial compliance, including audits, tax planning, and regulatory filings.
- Maintain a strong internal control environment to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and manage financial risks to the organization.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and processes to mitigate financial risks.
- Ensure adequate insurance coverage and risk mitigation measures are in place.
- Investment Management:
- Oversee the company's investment portfolio, including asset allocation, performance monitoring, and investment policy development.
- Collaborate with investment managers and advisors to optimize returns on investments while managing risk.
- Ensure investments align with the company's strategic goals and financial objectives.
- Capital Management:
- Manage capital structure, including debt and equity financing.
- Optimize the company's capital resources and ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs and strategic initiatives.
- Develop strategies for capital raising, including public offerings, private placements, and other financing options.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Foster collaboration with other departments to ensure financial strategies and practices support overall business objectives.
- Provide guidance and development opportunities for finance team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CFA designation is preferred.
- 10y+ progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the insurance industry.
- Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Deep understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and risk management practices.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to develop and execute long-term financial strategies.
- Deep knowledge of financial management, accounting, and investment principles.
- Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide the finance team.
- Proficiency in identifying and managing financial risks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders.
