Our Client Is a Leading Financial Services Company In Vietnam Who Is Looking For a Qualified Candidate To Join Their Firm

  • Financial Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's overall business goals.
    • Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
    • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance:
    • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
    • Oversee all aspects of financial compliance, including audits, tax planning, and regulatory filings.
    • Maintain a strong internal control environment to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify, assess, and manage financial risks to the organization.
    • Develop and implement risk management strategies and processes to mitigate financial risks.
    • Ensure adequate insurance coverage and risk mitigation measures are in place.
  • Investment Management:
    • Oversee the company's investment portfolio, including asset allocation, performance monitoring, and investment policy development.
    • Collaborate with investment managers and advisors to optimize returns on investments while managing risk.
    • Ensure investments align with the company's strategic goals and financial objectives.
  • Capital Management:
    • Manage capital structure, including debt and equity financing.
    • Optimize the company's capital resources and ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs and strategic initiatives.
    • Develop strategies for capital raising, including public offerings, private placements, and other financing options.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
    • Foster collaboration with other departments to ensure financial strategies and practices support overall business objectives.
    • Provide guidance and development opportunities for finance team members.
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CFA designation is preferred.
  • 10y+ progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the insurance industry.
  • Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Deep understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and risk management practices.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute long-term financial strategies.
  • Deep knowledge of financial management, accounting, and investment principles.
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide the finance team.
  • Proficiency in identifying and managing financial risks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders.
