Job Description
Applications management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively.
As a CI/CD Engineer (Cloud) at Endava, you will get the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art cloud native, microservices architecture, and Kubernetes technologies. Being a member of a global team, you will collaborate with several clients and partners worldwide to increase client satisfaction.
Exciting new opportunities to develop and maintain a CI/CD system for cloud native platform which provides support to develop cloud native application, following a modern design pattern (micro-service architecture based on containers). The platform integrates a lot of well-known open sources such as Apache Cassandra, Kafka, Zookeeper, Geode, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Prometheus
Responsibilities:
- Manage and continuously develop the microservices continuous integration and release pipeline.
- Troubleshoot issues to address technical problems and boost sustainability.
- Collaborate with global teams to identify and implement solutions to resolve issues, infrastructure performance, and security issues.
- Create a continuous release strategy and automate the various steps involved in deploying microservices in various Kubernetes cluster environments.
- Prototype, develop and maintain end-to-end test strategies, test scope, test cases to verify the interaction of microservices.
Qualifications
A University Qualification in Software Engineering or a related degree is required.
- At least 3 years relevant work experience.
- Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and Microservices Architecture.
- Experience with programming languages like Java, and Bash script.
- Experience in administrating and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira and Jenkins.
- Familiar with Linux environment.
- Good at log analytical, debugging, and problem-solving ability.
- Good at both spoken and written English communication.
Preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Good at communication and presentation abilities, both written and spoken.
- Have passion to enhance processes and provide innovation.
