Job Description
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud solutions on AWS and Azure for the new customer fulfillment and sales portal.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define architecture, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Architect and deploy scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure.
- Oversee the migration from legacy systems to cloud-based solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and user experience.
- Implement cloud best practices and governance frameworks to ensure security, compliance, and performance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and operations teams.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to enhance the platform.
- Ensure the cloud architecture supports advanced e-commerce functionalities such as product bundling and upsells.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on AWS and Azure.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing cloud solutions, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Experience with cloud migration projects, including assessment, planning, and execution.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about technology and its business implications.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) and Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) is a plus.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.
