I. KEY JOB DUTIES
Athena is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Community Specialist to join our team. As a Community Specialist, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding our online and offline communities, fostering engagement, and ensuring that community members have a positive and rewarding experience. You will play a vital role in building and maintaining a strong and supportive community around our products, services, or brand. The position is also expected to monitor progress to agreed measures and within set organizational procedures.
The ideal candidate can work on multiple initiatives simultaneously and translate data into digestible and actionable insights that improve our businesses:
- Develop and implement strategies to engage and grow the community, including social media platforms, forums, and other online and offline channels.
- Create and curate content that encourages participation and discussions within the community.
- Monitor community discussions, ensuring that interactions are respectful and aligned with community guidelines.
- Address issues, disputes, or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Implement and enforce community policies and rules.
- Provide assistance and support to community members by answering questions, resolving issues, and escalating technical problems to the appropriate teams.
- Collaborate with the customer support team to ensure consistent and accurate responses.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to generate engaging content, such as blog posts, newsletters, videos, or webinars, to inform and entertain the community.
- Collaborate with content creators and marketers to promote community activities.
- Gather and analyze feedback and insights from community members to provide valuable input to improve products, services, or user experiences.
- Create and share regular reports on community engagement and sentiment.
- Organize or participate in community events, meetups, and conferences, both online and in-person.
- Promote and manage attendance at community gatherings.
- Identify and nurture potential community advocates and brand ambassadors, collaborate with them to expand the reach and influence of the community.

II. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT / SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES
KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business or a related field.
- Proven experience at least 3 years in blockchain community management, social media management, or a related role and familiar with SNS such as Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Facebook, Youtube, Linkedin.
- Strong understanding of community-building strategies and online community dynamics.
- Proficiency in using community management tools and social media platforms.
- Experience with event planning and coordination is a plus.
SKILL & ABILITY:
- Excellent communication skills in both English, Vietnamese and interpersonal skill
- Ability to empathize with community members and address their needs.
- Good presentation and documentation skills
