SO, WHAT'S THE STORY
The job holder will support the Quality & Compliance Team, by coordinating with factory suppliers and nominated test houses, to ensure accurate components are included as per standard procedures.
Continuous program enhancements by collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. Implement and maintain the program with the Compliance Manager across all sourcing locations globally including all in-scope in nominated suppliers in terms of performance management support, execution of corrective action & continuous improvement plans, and verification.
THE GIG
- Enhance existing DM product safety/performance standards and processes, and work with our nominated test houses/suppliers/factories to plan and implement procedural improvements as required and directed.
- Provide on-site guidance and training for factories & suppliers to ensure to align expectations and drive towards achieving common goals.
- On-site liaison with nominated test houses/suppliers/factories to ensure the highest possible accuracy of test sample processing and test report presentation.
- Assist the Senior Compliance Officer in monitoring the performance of the service providers, factories, and suppliers, to review and follow up on different types of test reports from test items to billing details.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills and feel comfortable dealing with all internal & external parties giving clear and concise advice and instruction.
- Understand the importance of the diligence required to maintain accurate data analysis, by developing the key performance indicators (KPI) and having the tenacity to pursue the correct information required by relevant parties.
- Represent DM where required at performance-relevant events (training, conferences, external steering groups).
- Other tasks as assigned by the Manager.

To be our Compliance Officer, you will also possess these qualities:
- Degree holder in Science / Engineering or above in related discipline.
- Good knowledge in performance testing, a good understanding of lab testing and product safety requirements.
- At least 5 years of experience in the footwear performance testing industry or testing lab, understanding the SATRA testing methods would be an advantage.
- Reasonable knowledge in the manufacturing process.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and handling a variety of tasks.
- Credible, responsible, detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Have a high standard of integrity and compliance, understand the importance of the diligence required to maintain accurate records and have the tenacity to pursue the correct information as required from all parties.
- Self-motivated and desire to succeed with the ability to take on a breadth of work scope to deliver positive and commercially viable outcomes.
- Credible and highly professional in collaborating and interacting with stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), and database management.
- Good command of written and spoken English, and spoken Chinese will be an asset.
- Eligibility to work locally is a must.
