This position will be working on Ethane tank construction at Longson, Vietnam. He/She will be acting as technical bridge connecting the Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai engineering teams who is working on this project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communication and coordination between Chinese and Local teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide translation services during meetings, written communications, and technical documentation to bridge language barriers.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and provide engineering support to both teams.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure that milestones are met according to the project plan.
- Ensure that construction activities comply with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to project stakeholders in English, Chinese, and Thai.
- Identify and address any potential issues or conflicts that may arise during the project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering but also welcome other majors
- Experience in construction projects is a plus while New Grads are also welcome
- Proficiency in Chinese (Professional Level) is mandatory.
- Being able to work as an expat in Vietnam from day one is a must.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and engineering principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in all three languages of Chinese, English, and Thai.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and manage cross-cultural interactions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
