Overview: A Costing Analyst/Specialist is responsible for analyzing and controlling the costs associated with producing goods. They play a crucial role in helping businesses make informed decisions about pricing, budgeting, caculating and resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Estimation: o Develop accurate cost estimates for new products, projects, or services.
o Analyze historical data and industry benchmarks to predict future costs.
o Consider factors such as labor, materials, overhead, and potential risks.
Cost Analysis: o Track and analyze actual costs compared to estimated costs.
o Identify areas for cost reduction and improvement.
o Prepare detailed cost reports and analyses.
Cost Control:
o Implement cost-saving measures and strategies.
o Monitor and control expenses within budget constraints.
o Develop and maintain cost control systems.
Standard Costing:
o Develop and maintain standard cost systems.
o Calculate variances between actual and standard costs.
o Analyze and report on variance trends.
Financial Reporting:
o Prepare financial reports related to costing, such as cost of goods sold, inventory valuations, and profitability analysis.
o Provide cost data to support decision-making.
Process Improvement:
o Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
o Collaborate with other departments to implement process changes.
Monthly Responsibilities:
o Fix Asset, monitor and calculate depreciation of fixed assets
o Check inventory data, calculate product cost
o Create Breakdown report
o Create Material Balance report and Create Inventory report
o Upload SAC inventory data o Support checking production data, SAP,...
o Support providing related data upon audit request and tax audit
o Support providing data for related departments (Production, Import-Export, Supply, Sale...)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
5 Years working experience in related in costing and accounting
Experience in cost management and control
3 Years knowledge of industry-specific costing practices
Very fluent in English writing and speaking, and Vietnamese
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in financial analysis and accounting principles
Knowledge of costing methodologies (e.g., standard costing, activity-based costing)
Excellent data analysis and reporting skills
Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., ERP, SAP systems, financial modeling tools), especially must in SAP Strong communication and interpersonal skills and listening skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and listening skills.
Good skills in managing budget within targets
MS Office application, especially in Excel /PPT
Be able to work under high pressure and tight deadlines
