Responsibilities
Costing Manager (Expat, Furniture, $4000, ID15843)
- Manage BOM and costing process, building cost sheet and timeline, audits of costs, and preparing reports.
- Review the CAD on sample drawing and production drawing to analyze different costs, determine standard costs, and investigate variances with actual costs.
- Analyze changes in product design, raw materials updates, and manufacture updates to determine effects on cost.
- Analyze price change requests by evaluating the margin impact or potential incremental volume.
- Monitor changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall costs.
- Build up the cost sheet from the database, forecast, and analyze costs of processes, labor, and inventory.
- Analyze data collected from external suppliers and internal team cost calculations, and suggest cost-reducing or profitable solutions.
- Conduct market research and estimate production costs for existing and new products.
- Negotiate price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Qualifications
- Graduate from University.
- Have 5 years of experience in the same position in furniture manufacturing companies.
- Have experience working in Viet Nam.
