The country lead role has mixed responsibilities including both administrative and stakeholder engagements. This position includes growth opportunities in stakeholder engagement, using your country specific knowledge and experience to carve out autonomy in your role.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Support to SLCP Customers:
Onboard facilities on the SLCP Gateway (in line with SLCP procedures).
Resolve queries from SLCP customers (facilities, brands, audit firms, others) via the SLCP Helpdesk (in line with SLCP procedures).
Update Gateway content and messages as well as FAQs on the Helpdesk in line with changes in the SLCP assessment process and/or system.
Contact and visit facilities in country to understand challenges and barriers to SLCP adoption and collect case studies for communication purposes.
Send out newsletters and targeted emails to increase SLCP adoption.
Work with colleagues and partners to remove customers barriers for adoption.
Proactively contribute with ideas and suggestions for improvement that benefit the SLCP Customer Journey.
Local language support:
Translate SLCP training, support and communication content to local language (to Vietnamese).
Support the organization and execution of SLCP training webinars/sessions in local language (Vietnamese).
Translation of the SLCP's Data Collection Tool.
Local stakeholder engagement:
Regular engagement with local stakeholders e.g., major adopters, brand groups, manufacturers organizations, strategic partners, to promote SLCP and support in the implementation of SLCP.
Represent SLCP locally through participation in relevant events.
Input into SLCP annual strategy
Create and deliver activities within annual Country Action Plan in line with the SLCP's annual strategy.
Keep Country Profile updates with relevant information.
Required Skills & Experience

Native Vietnamese speaker.
Fully proficient in the English language, including high-quality written and verbal English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint in particular), online meeting tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
Experienced with different types of software such as Zendesk, Google Workspace.
Education & Experience
Experience in social compliance and/or human rights programs within a facility, brand or third party audit firm (essential).
Bachelors degree (essential).
3+ years of working experience (essential).
Social compliancetraining or ISO training (desired).
Sustainability sector experience (desired).
Helpdesk experience (desired).
Employment, organization set-up and location
Part-time position with a competitive salary/compensation within a non-profit context.
Expected engagement is 50% (4 hours/day) 5 days per week, with room for flexibility within that frame: working to accommodate engagement with stakeholders and colleagues in different time zones.
Location: the position is to be primarily based in Vietnam.
The role will be part of the SLCP Customer Success team and will report to the Support Manager, and will work closely with other members of the secretariat and partner organizations.
SLCP has its own independent governance, strategically steered by a Board elected from and by SLCP signatories.
The SLCP Secretariat actively collaborates with its signatories to achieve its vision and mission. The work is guided by diverse Technical Advisory Committees (TAC), consisting of signatories.
The successful candidate will be issued a 12-month contract with the first 3 months acting as a probationary period.
