Responsibilities
1. Solution Design:
Develop end-to-end Power BI solutions including:
- Data Modeling and Design:
- Design, develop, and maintain data models that support business processes and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
- ETL Development:
- Develop and optimize Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to efficiently move data from various sources into the data warehouse.
- Ensure data integrity and quality throughout the ETL process.
- Report and Dashboard Creation:
- Create visually compelling and insightful reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Customize and enhance existing reports to meet evolving business needs
2. Data Analysis and Interpretation
- Requirement Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancement, proposing and implementing strategies to streamline workflows and maximize efficiency
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, and user stories to guide development and implementation.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and address their analytical needs.
3. Performance Tuning and Optimization
- Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions, ensuring efficient query execution and responsiveness.
- Identify and implement enhancements to improve system performance and user experience
4. Documentation and Training:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and report specifications.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective utilization of BI tools
Qualifications
- Education & Major: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- License & Certificate: Certifications in relevant BI technologies is a plus.
- English level: Good
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
- Expertise in data modelling, ETL development, and report/dashboard creation.
