Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer/Analyst, or Bioinformatician to join our growing team, focusing on AI-powered solutions in precision oncology. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, you will contribute to projects focused on omics data analysis and real-time machine learning inference to drive cancer treatment discovery, optimize clinical decision-making, and predict patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain predictive models and scalable pipelines for omics data analysis in precision oncology.
- Design and implement software solutions to integrate multi-omics and clinical data, supporting personalized treatment decision-making.
- Optimize algorithms and data workflows for performance, efficiency, and scalability in high-throughput environments.
- Ensure seamless integration, storage, and retrieval of data.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Software Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with large-scale omics and clinical datasets.
- Strong experience in developing machine learning and deep learning models.
- Experience in building analysis pipelines using Snakemake or Nextflow.
- Proficiency with high-performance computing (HPC) systems, Singularity, and/or Docker.
- Understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git), code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data processing tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
Other requirements:
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, or distributed data systems.
- Excellent collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, including biologists, clinicians, and engineers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for advancing healthcare through AI in precision oncology.
