JOB OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITY:

We are looking for a savvy Data Engineer to join our growing team of analytics experts.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture,

Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.

Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, etc.

Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.

Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and AWS regions.

Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.

Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.

MUST HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Have at least 2 year experience as a Data Engineer.

Experience with Scala.

Experience with either big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, etc.

Experience with either stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, MSK, etc.

Experience working in technical data analysis, data science, data banking, financial services or market research.

Strong interest and proficiency in probability, statistical mathematics and database.

PREFER IF CANDIDATE HAVE:

Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, etc.

Experience in either Kafka, Big Query, Aurora, My SQL

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field.

Experience in data analyzing roles for banking, insurance, or market research.

Passionate in learning and finding new challenges.
