Study fashion trends and work with designers of the brands to create collections.
Find materials that are suitable for the design ideas from the company's clients, to build and develop that collection, according to the company's general orientation.
Receive development profiles for each collection from the client. Contact suppliers to obtain materials and quotes. Connect with the technical department to plan sample sewing, quote prices for the items in those collections.
Communicate with clients to find solutions for product design, in order to ensure quality and reasonable prices.
Establish quality standards for raw materials and finished products with the client. Establish a plan to place orders and sales targets for the entire year for that client, based on the number of successful collections (quality, price, beautiful samples) and the forecast quantity of that collection.
Track the target date for receiving raw materials for sample orders, the ability to negotiate with foreign suppliers, the ability to resolve quality issues, and ensure compliance with customer standards. Coordinate with the production team to find solutions during production.
Manage inventory for raw materials that have been purchased but not yet fully used.
Required qualifications:
Graduated with a major in Garment Technology.
Have experience in product development.
English is the primary language of communication. Must have presentation and communication skills to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Confidently communicate and dialogue in English with suppliers and customers in a professional manner.
Fast computer operation, fast Excel processing to balance raw materials, control daily reports from the factory and customers.
Problem-solving and solution-finding skills, good time management, able to withstand pressure during peak season, attention to detail but also a holistic view.
