Description
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer supports the Engineering Manager and the wider engineering team to ensure the reliability and performance of Envato's systems. They will help the team to think long-term about how to support sustainable growth of those systems and uplift the infrastructure skills of the wider team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Leading initiatives and controls that will help us improve our security and compliance profile
- Investigate and implement changes to our CI/CD processes to ensure compliance (CI/CD pipeline gates)
- Establish a process and tooling to ensure database changes (schema, tables, data) are subjected to formal change control
- Ensure git repositories have the appropriate levels of protection and that critical actions have appropriate auditing tooling
Skills, Experience and Attributes Essential
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and proposing solution to stakeholders Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Buildkite, Samson)
- Experience with with Github administration
- SQL Database management (in Aurora a bonus)
- Linux administration
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with Cloudformation, Terraform
- Experience with tools including Datadog, Rollbar and Sumologic
- Has built and maintained cloud-based applications and infrastructure
- Has worked in a culture of shared responsibility between software developers and infrastructure specialists
- Supporting a large web-based application with global traffic
Preferred
- Experience with CloudFlare
- Experience with Okta
- Experience in other agile environments
- Application development experience
- Security and Risk identification, assessment and mitigation
- Has built self-healing systems
- Has measurably improved the resilience of systems
- The ability to provide security and risk assessment and actions for a large e-Commerce site
