About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer (Junior) to support our development and operations teams in deploying, monitoring, and managing applications in cloud and on-premises environments.

The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in DevOps practices, is comfortable with basic scripting, and is eager to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.

What you'd do:

Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD):

oAssist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment.

oTroubleshoot and optimize build and deployment processes to enhance automation and efficiency.

Infrastructure Management:

oSupport infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and scaling in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).

oHelp with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Monitoring and Logging:

oConfigure and monitor system and application metrics using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.

oSet up logging and alerting solutions (e.g., ELK Stack, Splunk) to ensure high system availability and fast response to issues.

Scripting and Automation:

oDevelop and maintain scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate routine tasks and support infrastructure management.

oAssist with automated deployments, configuration updates, and other workflow automations.

Security and Compliance:

oAssist with implementing security best practices, including access control, network security, and compliance requirements.

oMonitor system vulnerabilities and apply patches as needed.

Collaboration:

oWork closely with software engineers, QA, and other team members to integrate DevOps practices and improve processes.

oParticipate in code reviews, contribute to documentation, and actively seek feedback to improve skills.

What we need you:

-1+ year-experience in the same role

Technical Skills:

oBasic understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

oFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

oExperience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.

oComfortable with basic scripting languages such as Bash or Python.

oBasic knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).

Soft Skills:

oStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.

oAbility to work independently and in a team.

oExcellent communication skills for collaboration and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic understanding of network security, firewalls, and VPNs.

Exposure to monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.

Experience in managing version control using Git.
