JOB DESCRIPTION
What you'll do:
- As a DevOps Engineer, you will be pivotal in ensuring consistent delivery of customer impact and driving our you built it, you own it culture. You will be an agent of positive change as you challenge existing architectures, tools, and services, and work towards automating all the things.
- You will champion the reduction of development feedback loops while improving reliability, redundancy, and resiliency across our global Product and Engineering teams.

Some of the key activities of this role are:
- Work within product teams, define what DevOps is, and set relevant standards that will be used across the organization
- Ensure these product teams are in the High/Elite category when measuring against the 4 key DevOps metrics
- Development of a new platform with the new technology and influence the decision-making and rollout strategy
- Evangelize robust technical patterns and ensure solutions delivered adhere to our security standards
- Enable continual growth and knowledge sharing of emerging technologies and practices
- Find opportunities to adopt new practices/technologies and promote it organizational-wide
- Mentoring staff through learning and knowledge sharing about best practices
- Support colleagues by providing feedback regularly
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Have 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role or working with AWS, and related other cloud providers GCP, Azure, and Oracle.
- Have relevant experience with infrastructure automation (e.g. Terraform, Cloudformation, Serverless, Docker, Bash, Python, CI/CD pipelines)
- Have experience or knowledge with Container Orchestration such as: ECS, K8S, Docker Compose is a plus.
- Are passionate about customer experience. You love working in DevOps and being responsible for great outcomes
- You are curious and willing to challenge existing assumptions to achieve the best results.
- You collaborate with an open mind and heart. You believe that making life easier for people is important.
