Mission:
Primary objective is to lead, implement and monitor the Sales strategies to achieve and exceed hotel budget expectations
Main responsibilities:
- Operation:
- Analyses the competition and reports on trends.
- Be knowledgeable of the Brand philosophy, ensuring optimal implementation of the standards, operations and identity manuals that apply to their department.
- Performance
- Educate and promote the hotels products to the B2B Travel Partners to increase sales and brand recognition.
- Participate with travel industry partners such as Tour Operator, Airlines, Corporates, Tourism Boards, Travel Agency Organizations and consortia and make strategic recommendations to maximize performance.
- Organize promotional activities to position Melia brand and value proposition.
- Focus on Key Account Management approach
- Ensure the execution of the sales actions signed in the marketing agreements with Tour Operators.
- Develop new accounts strategy and business opportunities.
- Research and project market trends and competitive studies, ensuring that property action plans reflect relevant actions.
- Comply in a timely manner with all reports as required by MHI Regional office.
- Create Strategic Sales Actions for assigned territory as part of the departmental Sales Action Plan
Main requirements:
- Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification equivalent in Business Administration, Hotel management or related field.
- Excellent English skill in both writing and speaking
- Minimum 2 years experience in a hospitality or hotel sales setting with direct supervisory experience over a sales team
- Strong knowledge of Korean market and business trends
- Strong negotiation & Excellent communication skills.
