Our client is a leading bank in Vietnam who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm:
- Overall manage Retail Banking business operations to achieve goals and implement initiatives that contribute to the implementation of business strategies within the legal and regulatory framework of the Bank as well as international practices.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve targets for volume, revenue, and profit from retail business. Ensure continuous market share growth and sustainable growth of the Retail Segment.
- Develop and direct the business strategies of the Retail Segment in each period, in line with the overall business goals and strategies of the Bank; Develop and direct the business strategies of each segment.
- Direct the implementation of activities: Marketing, customer policy building, product development, distribution network management, risk management, and building a system of mechanisms and policies related to Retail activities throughout the system.
- Build, train, and develop a team of retail staff at the Head Office and branches throughout the system.
- Report and be responsible to the Deputy General Director in charge of the Segment and the competent authorities and law for the results of the assigned work.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Deputy General Director in charge of the Segment, the competent authorities, and in accordance with the Bank regulations to achieve the common goals of the Unit.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Fluent in English.
- Over 10 years of experience in retail banking, with at least 5 years in a management position at reputable and large-scale banks in both domestic and international markets.
- Proven ability and experience in developing and implementing new business, products, and processes.
- In-depth knowledge of retail banking, including an understanding of the market competitive landscape, banking regulations, and practices.
- Experience in change management and organizational restructuring is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the customer base, customer needs, and expectations.
