We are seeking a talented Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at Phygital Labs. As a key member of our phygital solution, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing hardware products related to RFID and IoT components to integrate with our software platform seamlessly.
Responsibilities:- Research, design and develop firmware for RFID solutions and other IoT hardware components for our phygital solutions.
- Create RFID tag packaging designs, layouts, and prototypes for new hardware products.
- Collaborate with the software development team to ensure smooth integration between hardware and software components.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting on hardware prototypes to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Optimize existing hardware designs for improved performance, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.
- Prepare manufacturing documentation and provide support during the production process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in RFID technology and chip design.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in firmware design and development.
- Strong knowledge of RFID protocols, standards, and technologies.
- Familiarity with RFID tag manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working with and developing for JCOP and Smartcard is a big plus.
- Experience with embedded hardware development is a plus.
- Enthusiastic about technology and building new products.
- Diligent and detail-oriented in all aspects of work.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
