Job Purpose
The Career Services unit within the Student Affairs and Services department (aka Student Life) strives to foster opportunities, experiences, connections, and skills to help all Fulbright students and graduates find professional and personal fulfillment across diverse areas of study, interest, and career paths.
The Employer & Partner Engagement Coordinator (EPEC) will develop a collaborative ecosystem between higher education and industry, building a highly skilled workforce ready for the future. This role plays a vital role in creating and maintaining employer relationships that result in internship and graduate placement, career development opportunities, and corporate learning agreements. This position is responsible for developing and executing a strategic approach to employer engagement, creating quality internships, placement experiences and top university graduate admissions.
This role will support the full scope of Career Services programming, including but not limited to ideation for Career Services programs, outreaching and managing stakeholder relationship, marketing of programs to relevant stakeholders, and administrative duties relevant to program execution. The purpose of the role is to enhance the employability of Fulbright students.

Roles and Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Employer & Partner Engagement Coordinator (EPEC) include but not limited to:
Industry Relationship Development:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to engage with employers, create impactful partnerships that expand internship and career opportunities for students.
- Organize and lead career fairs, interviews & interview practices, networking events, company/ institute visits and other initiatives to connect students with potential employers.
- Manage and promote the opportunity board for job and graduate program postings, ensuring its optimal use by both students and employers.
- Collaborate with the Fulbright departments such as Development & Strategic Initiatives, CEI, YSEALI and Academic Affairs to secure strategic and effective partnerships with diverse industry sectors and institutions.
Graduate Admissions Support:
- Grow connections and execute a strategic approach to global institutions that increases student's acceptance to prestigious post-graduate programs and funds.
- Proactively source suitable graduate, scholarship, fellowship opportunities for students and recent graduates; advise them through the application process.
- Organize, facilitate, and execute all scales of Career Services events that contribute to high quality co-op placements and scholar development programs at Fulbright.
- Liaise with faculty, Learning Support, institutional partners and funding organizations to ensure further education conversion rate for students and alumni.
Other duties
- Maintain up-to-date CRM system, including partnership databases and career resources.
- Collect and analyze placement outcomes, employer & institute engagement data to inform strategic decisions and share insights with stakeholders.
- Create and manage relevant marketing materials to share with relevant stakeholders.
- Support all career-related and Student Life programs including but not limited to the enhancement of students and partners satisfaction, alumni and mentorship programs and global engagement initiatives.
- Contributing to team effort by welcoming new and different work requirements; exploring new opportunities to enhance the services of the department; helping others accomplish related job results as and where needed.
- Other tasks and responsibilities assigned to the Employee by the Company, which may be adjusted from time to time.
What we look for
Education:
- Bachelor's degree is required, Master's preferred.
- Membership in employers network/ higher education/ student advising associations will be an advantage.
- Qualifications in career development/ coaching would be preferred.
Employment/Professional Experience:
- Experience working in a career services team in higher education or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing and maintaining partner relationships, whether those partners are industry or education sector partners.
- Experience developing and administering programs, seminars, and events. Specific events management experience would be an advantage.
- Experience producing training and/or presentation materials, program evaluation and assessment.
Competencies - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- At least IELTS 6.0 or equivalent proficiency in English.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to working in education and Vietnam.
- Demonstrated professional agility when working in a situation where not only is the organization evolving but so is the environment in which it operates.
- Experience in and enthusiasm for being an advocate and a mentor to young people.
- Demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence to negotiate and mediate tensions and conflicts involving partners, students, and/or staff.
- Strong facilitation skills, especially in holding training, workshops, or spaces for difficult dialogues.
