Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide technical supports to plating and wet chemical related process problems in Front End, Assembly, System manufacturing areas. Collaborate with other departments to develop new tools, fixtures, equipment, chemicals, materials for process and product developments, and solving production technical issues. Ensure machines operate smoothly, and collect, analyze data to improve processes further. Work with cross-department engineers and staffs to implement process problem solving and improvement, and qualification projects to meet departmental objectives towards cost saving and quality improvement.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's in one of following specialization: Chemical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering,
- At least 2 years applicable experience in manufacturing setting relating to trouble shooting of plating or wet chemical processing.
Skills
- Knowledge of SPC and shop floor control.
- Knowledge of technical drawing, fixtures, tooling.
- Experience in process improvement, trouble shooting and equipment management.
- Computer skills (word processor, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, statistical analysis, etc.)
- Ability to handle multiple priorities involving external and internal priorities.
- Ability to handle assignments promptly under general instructions.
