We're seeking an experienced Tech Lead to oversee key modules in the Magento Platform.
Job Description:
The Magento Tech Lead will be responsible for guiding a team of dedicated professionals in the design, development, and delivery of our complex e-commerce system. This role demands a combination of technical prowess, leadership skills, and a profound understanding of project and risk management. You will be the cornerstone in nurturing the team's growth, steering them towards achieving excellence in design, quality, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design, development, and maintenance of our Magento e-commerce platform
- Manage a team of developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and code reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features and improvements
- Ensure best practices in code quality, performance, and security are followed
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Magento developments and e-commerce trends
- Participate in architectural decisions and technology stack choices
- Optimize site performance, scalability, and reliability
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with Magento development, including Magento 2.x
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with Magento customizations, third-party integrations, and API development
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
