We are looking for a Fashion Designer or an Assistant Fashion Designer, that can creates woman clothing products(Minimalist Fashion) to match current trends and styles. The main duties include managing the entire design process from start to finish, making edits to current clothing and accessory lines and choosing fabrics and trims for upcoming designs and product lines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Fashion Designers works directly for the company, creating various clothing and accessory designs that appeal to consumers. The fashion designer often sketch the designs, then select patterns and fabrics that best complement the designs.
A capable Fashion Designer should understand the principles of design. In addition, you should be able to apply this knowledge to creating aesthetically pleasing and functional pieces. A Fashion Designer will work closely with a Technical Designer and Development team or factories. This will enable you to excel at your duties, which include the followings:
- Managing Design: Managing design process from conception through to final styling.
- Designing Cloths: Conceptualize, design, and create visual assets and collaterals for the Company across multiple touch points.
- Selecting fabrics and trims or, assist in the selections of fabrics and trims for each collection or individual piece.
- Design Presentation: Create mood boards to present story, mood, color and samples.
- Sample Development: Creating production samples for development packages.
- Oversee and Review product sample for style and fit during presentation.
- Oversee Production: Overseeing the production of designs, including carrying out fittings, and ensuring immaculate finishing and timely deliveries.
- Quality Check: Perform Quality Check after receiving the Products from factory.
- Ensure that the manufacturing supplier adheres to the approved design requirements and follow up on discrepancies and defectives if any.
- Look Book Creation: Organize fashion shoots with media team, to create a look book or product catalogues for cloths that has been produced.
- Research Trend: Researching current fashion trends and determining what consumers will like.
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
This is a role that requires a passionate, highly energetic, all-rounders (and Creatively Resourceful) who are able to CONTRIBUTE towards a creation and building of a Fashion Brand efforts in a 100% start-up company settings.
- Currently NOT WORKING on any freelance project for other clients. Our successful candidates must be able to commit full-time (mind, body, soul and past 2 lives) without working on any freelance project on the side for additional income.

If you have a knack of giving excuses for your underperformed and uncommitted work, defensive and take offense on every constructive criticism, communicates only when you want attention, give sweet talk to get away with things, please do not apply for this position. - LANGUAGE. English will be the primary language for all formal and official communications in the company while Vietnam Language will be the secondary or casual non-formal verbal language used in the office or outside the office with external parties or vendors.
- COMMUNICATION SKILLS. This is the most important BUT misunderstood skill set of all time. A good communication skills would first require good listening, reading and comprehensive skill BEFORE the great articulation of speech, casual talking and great writing skills that comes with it. The ability to TIME yourself and balanced yourself by asking the right questions when and how is all the more important. So we ask you NOT to be a Hello Kitty or a loquacious person who spills too much with no progression.
