Following the Vietnamese market potential for Biocodex, the Group has decided to open its newest affiliate in Vietnam with the goal to expand its footprint and market share in Vietnam.
As the Finance Manager at Biocodex Vietnam, you will have the opportunity to help build and structure the affiliate, supporting all functions to analyze the performance and secure our accounting and tax compliance.
Your position will be instrumental in achieving the company's goal in Vietnam. You will report to the Chief Financial Officer and you will have two direct reports
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in the opening of the affiliate
- Contribute with the CFO to implementing all the proper financial procedures (reporting, expense approvals, purchasing etc.)
- Build with the other departments the relevant tools to support the Sales, Marketing and HR departments success.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- In line with Group requirements, develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to assess the affiliate performance
- Work with the CFO and BI/SFE to propose sales performance analysis
Cost Management:
- Monitor, analyze and challenge expenditures, ensuring the budget is respected and proper return on investment.
- Review and submit expenditures for approval, ensuring alignment with budgetary guidelines and strategic priorities.
Financial Reporting, Tax & Compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely statutory and management financial reporting
- Coordinate audits and examinations, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.

- Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes.
- Stay abreast of tax law changes and assess their impact on the affiliate's financial position.
Treasury Management:
- Alongside the CFO, prepare a monthly cash flow reconciliation and forecast in order to ensure the right financing.
Team Management
- Lead your team to ensure good relations as well as ensuring they are able to reach their objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, including some years in the pharmaceutical or cosmetics industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems: BO & SAP preferrable).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
