Position Overview
The Fitness Director will provide strategic leadership and operational excellence across Elite Fitness Vietnam's network of 13 premium health clubs. This senior position is responsible for driving the growth and quality of our personal training, group fitness, and product development initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of service and member experience.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement comprehensive fitness strategies aligned with company objectives
- Drive revenue growth across personal training and group fitness departments
- Create and manage annual departmental budgets and KPIs
- Lead product development initiatives for new fitness programs and services
- Establish and maintain quality standards across all fitness operations
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a large team of fitness professionals across multiple locations
- Recruit, train, and retain top fitness talent
- Implement performance management systems and career development pathways
- Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance team capabilities
- Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Operations Management
- Oversee daily fitness operations across all locations
- Ensure consistent delivery of premium fitness services and programs
- Maintain equipment standards and coordinate maintenance schedules
- Implement and monitor safety protocols and risk management procedures
- Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements
Program Development
- Design and launch innovative fitness programs
- Evaluate and refresh existing programs to maintain market competitiveness
- Develop standardized operating procedures for all fitness services
- Ensure programs meet international fitness industry standards
- Create and maintain program documentation and training materials
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in fitness industry management
- Proven track record in multi-site fitness leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Sports Management, or related field
- Advanced fitness certifications from recognized international bodies
- Demonstrated experience in driving revenue growth and team development
- Strong financial acumen and budget management skills
- Excellence in building and maintaining client relationships
- Fluent in English; Vietnamese language skills advantageous
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in related field
- International fitness brand experience
- Experience in the Asian fitness market
- Additional fitness specialization certifications
- Project management certification
