Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Fortran developer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding and proficiency in Fortran programming.
- Experience with scientific and engineering computing applications.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies.
- Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting Fortran applications.
- Experience with code optimization and refactoring for performance improvements.
- Competence in conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
- Ability to perform unit testing and validate code changes effectively.
- Familiarity with integrating Fortran applications with other software systems.
- Solid understanding of modern computing environments and migration processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong documentation skills for code and development processes.
- Ability to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Fortran and scientific computing.
