With more expansion coming up, they are looking for a highly competent FP&A Manager to drive commercial activities across all markets.
Job Description
Reporting to Head of Finance, you are responsible for managing the FP&A team, performing financial planning and analysis to monitor the financial health of businesses, collecting, compiling, verifying, analyzing financial information, and generating forecasts and annual budget. The FPA manager is also responsible for managing and deploying the US Company related tasks to the team to ensure accurate reports are properly and timely generated and submitted.
This role will include but not limited to:
- Current Company Task:
- Fin Review preparation
- P&L breakdown, study of each line item.
- Commitment / Forecast verification
- Relatable X to Y plan that demonstrates the bridge back to commitment.
- Verification of costs on Fin Review
- Actual performance vs. plan/target set for OE/unit, production units.
- Analyzing and explaining the labor and production OH variances.
- SG&A forecast vs actual update.
- Assist Purchasing in vendor price negotiations, either directly or indirectly, by providing the necessary supporting data.
- Manage purchasing material reduction projects to keep them on track and provide status updates.
- Review material price variances, work with Purchasing to verify the underlying issues from the price variance, track changes, and conduct weekly PPV review to inform stakeholders of the issues and mitigating plan.
- Track actual material savings and work with Sourcing team to verify the material saving achieved.
- Prepare weekly flash / rolling forecasts / annual budget
- Appraise capex proposals.
- Other tasks assigned.
- Parent Company related tasks
- Take on and deploy related tasks to the team.
- Monitor quality of reports submitted to US team in terms of accuracy and punctuality.
- Participate in regular calls with the US team for training / updates.
Team management
- Drive underneath team to focus on the common goals
- Orient and coach the team for team's capability development to adapt business changes
The Successful Applicant
- BA in finance / accounting or above. ACCA/ CIMA qualified is a plus.
- Fluently in speaking English is a must. Strong leadership skills : this role need to manage more than 10 members
- Advanced Excel Skills. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
- 3-5 year experience at the manager level.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Being able to work under high pressure.
