Freelance Japanese into Vietnamese game translators

TransPerfect Gaming is looking for qualified JAPANESE into VIETNAMESE video games translators interested in long term freelance collaboration and willing to join our network of certified linguists. We're looking for candidates that are experienced in Video games localization.

Qualifications, Skills & Experiences

Native level of Vietnamese

Document practical/translation experiencein video games localization

Proficiency in CAT tools (preferably memoQ)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese

Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar

Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines

Candidates must also have one of the following:

A degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;

2 years of professional translation experience and college degree;

5 years of professional translation experience and no degree; or

A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body.
